Walnut Rawmesan

All you need is:

100g walnuts or peanuts

5 tbsp nutritional yeast

1 tsp onion powder 

1/4 tsp garlic powder 

Pinch Himalayan salt 

Here’s what you do:

It's probably the easiest and most delicious food topper you will ever make. Just put all ingredients to food processor or high speed blender (depending how fine you want your rawmesan) and mix until desired crumbliness.

For money saving option peanuts would do the job as good, though a little less delicious and less nutritious as well. For better taste you can roast peanuts for 10 minutes in the oven preheated on 180C degrees or until it will start to brown and 'sweat' with oil lightly and use instead of walnuts.

*Note. I called it rawmesan, but it is not fully raw, as nutritional yeast is not raw product as it has to be pasteurised to kill the yeast. Also if you roasting peanuts, it eliminates the raw title from this awesome topper completely. But hey, it's all about the taste and nutritional value, not the titles :).

Walnut Rawmesan can be used for various dishes, especially great for replacing parmesan. Taste great on pastas, lasagnas, gnocchi and other Italian specialities. Also awesome on salads and avocado toasts.
