Super Smoothie

All you need is:

1/2 glass kale

1/2 glass spinach

Handful alfa alfa or similar sprouts

Few slices of cucumber

1 stalk of celery

1 or few slices of ginger

1 tsp ground turmeric or few slices of raw turmeric root

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp of moringa powder (optional but highly recommended)

1 tbsp ground flaxseeds

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp hemp seeds (or whichever combination you prefer, I like variety of my omega 3 sources so I chose 3 tbsp of different seeds, you can go for one type, as long as you have 2/3 tbsp of any per day)

3 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Few leaves of parsley

1/4 lemon or a chunky slice without skin

1 banana or 1/2 large or 1 small avocado

1/2 kombucha, water kefir (not milk!) or rejuvelac - natural, unsweetened (optional, but highly recommended as well)

Filtered water (or mineral, but strictly not tap)

Here’s what you do:

It is as simple as putting all ingredients to high speed blender and blending until smooth and even. You can potentially precut celery to smaller pieces as it has pretty hard strings and it simply will make your blenders life easier. As well as ginger - worth precutting to smaller pieces or grinding. I also like to remove hard kale stalks, but it's all up to you.

Once it's blended pour your Super Smoothie to your favourite glass or cup and decorate nicely so it will be even more special. I love the beauty of the curly kale and sprouts, so I topped mines with them.

So what's the story behind, why I called it Super Smoothie? In few words, it's because it has so much goodness inside, that if you have one a day you will improve your health in couple of weeks time, I promise. It simply has foods which are the most nutritious (very high in micronutrients and phytonutrients), alkalising, promoting digestion (high in digestive enzymes), probiotics, low in sugar (glucose from banana or you can choose avocado for nearly non) and high is healthy fats full of omega 3. And it's very delicious (do not expect it to taste like candy, but for what it is, Super Smoothie has pretty good taste. If you want to know a little more of why and how - please follow the link ->
